Location: four workers' hostels in Ljubljana, Slovenia

The project title refers to the screenings of the documentary film
Brotherhood and Unity in certain workers' hostels in Ljubljana. Made
in 2006, my film portrays migrant workers at work on a highway
construction site and in the hostels or rooming houses where they
live.

The Sloga Cinema project will bring the film to the social group that
is featured in it but has not seen it yet, since exhibitions and
festivals do not reach it. The screenings tour project calls The
Sloga Cinema after the well-known cinema Sloga in Ljubljana that used
to be frequented by migrant workers, because it showed erotic films.

The project is a part of the exhibition Museum in the Street, of the
Museum of Modern Art Ljubljana. Curators: Zdenka Badovinac, Bojana
Piskur.
