Conference: "Artists mobility - Aspiration or reality?"

From 07-11-08 till 08-11-08 - Dublin, Ireland

European Council of Artists' annual conference 2008 will take place in Dublin on 7th and 8th November and be followed by ECA general assembly on 9 November. The conference is organised in cooperation with the Irish organisation Visual Artists Ireland (VAI).

 

Different topics will be tackeled :

- Building relations with cultural cooperation - an experience from West Balkans

- Art of living with strangers - the challenge of inclusion

- Borders, visa issues & cultural diversity

- Artistic exchange, immigration and terrorist legislation - experiences from a small institution perspective

- The role of the European Parliament in the promotion of artists' mobility
